A Guide to Transferring Between Tokyo Haneda and Narita Airports

A Guide to Transferring Between Tokyo Haneda and Narita Airports

COVID-19 Update: Keep in mind that to transfer between Haneda and Narita airports, you will need to enter Japan. As such, make sure to check with your airline and the Japanese embassy in your country about the latest rules (at this point, the transfer is virtually impossible for non-Japanese). Also, keep in mind that Japan is still doing COVID-19 tests at entry which can take a few hours – account for that in your transit time if for one reason or another you actually can enter Japan.

Whether you are about to visit Sapporo, Okinawa, or some other Japanese city other than Tokyo, Osaka, or Nagoya, and you are arriving from outside Asia, chances are you will have to transfer at one of the two major Tokyo airports – Haneda and Narita.

Depending on what your destination is or where you are arriving from, you might even need to transfer between the two airports.

This article looks at what options you have for traveling between Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita airports, and how much each of them costs and takes.

Before jumping into the details, though, I’ll mention that the most convenient way to get between Tokyo Haneda and Narita airports is by a frequent direct bus which costs 3,100 yen (about 30 dollars).

And, below is a table summarizing the three ways to get directly between the two airports:

Method Cost Time Frequency
Bus 3,100 yen 1 – 1.5 hours Approx. every 15 – 20 minutes
Train 1,800 yen 1.5 – 2 hours Approx. every 40 minutes
Taxi 30,000 yen 1 – 1.5 hours On demand

The Two Major Tokyo Airports: Haneda and Narita

Tokyo Haneda airport is located in Ota Ward of Tokyo, about 20 kilometers from Tokyo and Shibuya stations. While between 1978 when Narita was opened and 2010 when Haneda’s new international terminal was built it served largely as a domestic airport, nowadays there are flights out of Haneda to many international destinations all over the world as well.

Tokyo Narita airport, in contrast, is located about 70 kilometers from Tokyo station. And, in fact, it is located outside of Tokyo itself, in Chiba prefecture. Besides the international flights by carriers from all over the world and a limited domestic network of the Japanese full-fare carriers, the airport has also developed into a low-cost airline hub offering both domestic and international flights.

Tokyo Narita Airport

For you as someone transferring between the two airport, however, the main thing to know about is which terminal your flight will arrive in at the first airport and which terminal it will depart from at the other one.

While you should be able to get that information from your itinerary, here’s a quick overview of the two airport’s terminals.

Tokyo Haneda Airport Terminals

Haneda airport has the following three passenger terminals:

  • Terminal 1 (Domestic): Used by all domestic flights operated by the Japan Airlines group and Skymark Airlines. Also used for some Starflyer flights.
  • Terminal 2 (Domestic): Used by all domestic flights operated by the All Nippon Airways group, Air Do, and Solaseed Air. Also used for some Starflyer flights.
  • International Terminal: Used by all international flights.

In case you get off at the wrong terminal, there’s no need to worry as there are two shuttle buses – one connecting the two domestic terminals and another one connecting all three terminals. There is also a walkway connecting the two domestic terminals.

On a side note, within the next couple of years, there are plans to create an international section of Terminal 2 at which point the current International Terminal will become Terminal 3.

Tokyo Narita Airport Terminals

Narita airport has the following three passenger terminals:

  • Terminal 1: Used by all Star Alliance member airlines except Air India which uses Terminal 2, most Sky Team member airlines except China Airlines which uses Terminal 2, as well as by some other airlines including Uzbekistan Airlines and MIAT Mongolian Airlines.
  • Terminal 2: Used by all OneWord airlines, as well as the two airlines mentioned above, and some other airlines including AirAsia X, Scoot, Qatar Airways and Emirates among others.
  • Terminal 3: Used by low cost carriers including Jetstar, Vanilla Air, Spring Japan, and Jeju Air.

Tokyo Haneda Airport

All three of the terminals are used for both domestic and international flights, and they are interconnected with a free shuttle bus. It is also possible to walk between Terminals 2 and 3 in about five or so minutes.

Traveling Between Tokyo Haneda and Narita Airports

While there are basically unlimited number of ways to get between the two airports using a combination of buses, trains, and taxis, below are the three direct ways to do so.

#1: Direct Bus Between Haneda and Narita Airports

By far the easiest and most convenient way to transfer between Tokyo Haneda and Narita airports, just as mentioned in the beginning of this article, is using the direct bus service operated by Limousine Bus.

The comfortable buses operate around three to four times per hour during the day (check the timetable) and tickets cost 3,100 yen (about 30 dollars) for adults and 1,550 yen (about 15 dollars) for children. The drive takes anywhere between an hour and an hour and a half depending on traffic.

You can buy tickets for the bus inside both airport’s terminals, and you do not need an advance reservation. Besides the fact that you don’t have to transfer along the way, the advantage of taking the bus is the fact that you can catch it at (and disembark at) any of the airport terminals.

#2: Direct Train Between Haneda and Narita Airports

The second easiest and a cheaper way to get between the two Tokyo airports is by using a direct train connection operated by Keisei and Keikyu companies. Unlike the bus, the direct train operates roughly every 40 minutes, and it costs 1,800 yen one-way (about 18 dollars).

Depending on the exact train you get on, it takes anywhere between an hour and a half and two hours. As such, it’s a fair bit slower than the bus, but it still offers the convenience of a direct connection for almost half the price.

You can search for a the train schedules on Hyperdia. Make sure to check the number of transfers as there are also some itineraries where you have to change trains along the way.

#3: Taxi

The third way to get from Haneda airport to Narita airport or vice-versa without having to transfer is by taking a taxi. However, because of the high cost, and the relatively high convenience of the other two options, you will likely end up using this option only in an emergency (or if you need to be on a private call, and so on).

The taxi ride from Haneda to Narita airport costs around 30,000 yen (300 dollars), and just like the bus ride, can take anywhere between an hour and an hour and a half.

Time Needed to Transfer Between Haneda and Narita Airports

As you can see above, even if everything goes smooth, getting between Tokyo Haneda and Narita airports takes at least an hour. More realistically, however, accounting for any potential delays and congestions, you should calculate with at least two hours of transfer time between the two airports.

On top of that, you will need to account for the time it might take you to get off the aircraft of your inbound flight, clear immigration, and pick up your bags, as well as for time to check-in before your connecting flight. In total, I would account for at least three hours to do that.

With that, even though JAL’s minimum connecting time (MCT) between the two airports is 3.5 hours, I suggest you leave at least 5 hours between your flight’s arrival at one Tokyo airport and departure from another. Especially so if you plan to check a bag in.

Summary

To sum it all up, in case you are in a hurry and your budget allows it, I suggest taking the bus. If you want to save some money, and have some extra time on your hands, then taking the train is a perfectly comfortable way to get between the two airports as well. Especially so given that they are both at the end of the train line and so you will be able to almost certainly get a seat.

Method Cost Time Frequency
Bus 3,100 yen 1 – 1.5 hours Approx. every 15 – 20 minutes
Train 1,800 yen 1.5 – 2 hours Approx. every 40 minutes
Taxi 30,000 yen 1 – 1.5 hours On demand

  1. I have a question.
I will flight from SGN (VN) to HND on JL70, then from NRT to DFW (USA) on JL12 on the same day (connection time: 3 hrs 50 mins)
When I arrive in Haneda, am I supposed to check out my luggage before going to Narita to catch the connecting flight to USA?
    Thank you very much.

    1. Keishi Nukina

Hi Tran, yes – you will have to pick up your luggage at Haneda after arriving from Saigon and take it to Narita yourself.

      1. I will have a similar transfer. Would the Japanese authority ask to see a Japanese Visa or would the transfer plane ticket suffice?

  2. Hi Keishi, thanks for the great article! I would also like to ask for you recommendation. I’ll be flying in from SFO, and my next flight out of HND is about 8 hours after my arrival in NRT. I understand that I will need to pick up my luggage in NRT and check in again at HND, but I think I should have at least 4 hours remaining. Do you have any recommendation for places that I can visit during my transfer from NRT to HND? Thanks so much in advance.

  3. Hi Keishi, I have a flight from India to Narita then another connecting flight from Haneda to Canada(YVR), I have applied for the transit visa, Do i need anything else to clear customs?. And if so then is it easy to travel between the two airports.
    Thankyou.

    1. Keishi Nukina

Hi Naman, you should be fine if you have your connecting ticket, passport, and visa. But if you are not sure, check with the Japanese embassy just to be sure.

As for transferring between the two airports – if you don’t have much time, just take the direct bus. That’s by far the easiest. Just ask at the bus ticket counter for it at Narita and they’ll help you.

  4. Hi Keisha, my question is, my sisters are travelling from Manila to Chicago next month. Their flight will be from Manila to Haneda then from Narita to Chicago..they have 13 hours layover from Haneda to Narita. When they exit from Haneda airport to Narita, do they need transit Visas? and can they get from Haneda airport immigration?

    1. Keishi Nukina

Hi Tess, you’ll have to check with the Japan embassy regarding the visas as it depends on their nationality, etc.

    2. I arrived at Haneda airport by flying from Chicago. And I have to transit in Narita. The staffs at the airport helped me get the transit Visa immediately. They are really friendly.

      1. Hi Zachery,
Do you mind sharing more information on how to get this transit visa. Did you get it before the immigration or after?
        Thanks

      2. Jennete de Leon

        Hi Zachery,

Would like to ask that you only apply visa when your already in the airport? What requirements they need? And how long js the process? So you flew from your departure without visa to japan and you just acquire your visa at the haneda airport? Thank you in advace. Badly needed inputs on this as I will travel with 2 kids.

  5. This is my first time to travel that i have a layover in Haneda my problem is i have a knee problem is there someone could help me when i arrived at the Haneda airport..because im travelling alone..tnx

    1. Keishi Nukina

Hi Jean, I recommend contacting your airline beforehand and explaining your situation – that way they might be able to arrange someone to escort you where you need to go.

  6. Brenda Arcangel

I arrive Narita in 5/30 at 1:25pm and my connecting flight is from Haneda to Okinawa at 5:15pm. Will I have enough time to connect with my next flight by bus?

  7. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. Why not fly the people another 35 miles to their next departing airport NRT on their way to the USA from the Philippines. My wife’s elderly mother is coming to visit us and when buying the ticket I just assumed that since she was wheelchair assisted that there would be someone to be with her the entire trip but it appears that she’s going to have to try to get her luggage somehow and then get on a bus if she can figure out how to pay for it and then get off again, go thru customs and security again and get on another flight to the USA? How backwards is that? Cheap-O Air should be ashamed of selling that kind of scam flights to people who assume that the two airports would have some sort of secure shuttle service between the two airports. Last time I use that company and let me stay away from Japan who probably are in on the scheme to make money off of unsuspecting tourists.

    1. Hello David,

Apparently you haven’t traveled much. You expect the Japanese authorities to keep all international travelers secure and then transfer them for free? Does the U.S. do this between New York Airports? How about the Chicago Airports? And no charge … it’d become Not so Cheap-O air. And it has nothing to do with them anyway. Japan and the Japanese people are wonderful and I’m sure your mother in law was treated better than you could expect. And $30 is cheap.

    2. I am booking my flight to Asia and there is a connecting flight in Tokyo. There are options given.
The flight that I was interested in reads: “self-arranged transfer between airports (Narita to Haneda) required xxhxxmin”. I decided to use my few remaining tiny brain cells to research and make a conscious decision to select the ticket that is right for me.

    3. Even the airlines are offering that horrible option as cheaper. Who wants to transfer between airports unless you have some sort of business there. What a headache.

  8. Is a transit visa or needed if im transferring from haneda airport to narita? Haven’t seen any clear answers here. Tyi

  9. I will be travelling from Los Angeles to Haneda and have a connecting flight from Narita. Layover is 5:00 hours.

Will that be enough time to travel from Haneda to Narita ?

Does ANA Airline provide for transportation?

Do I need a VISA if I am USA citizen?

    1. Hi Pam,

ANA will not provide transportation. The quickest way – which I’d recommend considering you don’t have that much time – is taking the direct bus.

Don’t forget to pick up your bags at Haneda before continuing to Narita, since you will have to recheck them there.

As for visa, generally US citizens don’t need visa.

  10. Hi! This December I have a flight from Kansai to Haneda (arriving at 740am) and then a connecting flight from Narita (leaves at 1055am) to Germany. I have around 3 hours 15 minutes to change airports from Haneda to Narita. Can you suggest me the best way to travel in this limited time?

    1. Hi Chantale,

Are you traveling with checked luggage? Are these flights on the same ticket?

With this tight connection, your best bet would likely be taking a bus (or a taxi, but that is very pricey). But even then, if your flight is delayed or if there is a traffic jam, the chance of you missing your connection is quite high. If the flight is on time, the bus is on-time, and you get off at the right terminal, you should be able to make it (although it will be quite tight).

Do you have a way to rebook (or book a new flight) to Tokyo the day before?

      Keishi

  11. Hi
I have a flight from Dallas to Vietnam.
I have to flight from Dallat to Narita (arriving at 4:45pm) and then a connecting flight from Haneda (leaving at 1:30am) to Vietnam. I have my checked Luggage
Layover time is : 8:45 mins
Do I have to check out my checked luggage or only my carry on luggage?
Can you suggest me anything to do at night in Tokyo because I have about 8hours to transit ?
    Thank you

  12. Hi Keishi,
We are a family of 5 (2 adult and 3 children age 3,10,13),and we have a connecting flight from haneda(we arrive at hanedaat 2:55pm) to narita(7:35pm departure to manila, phil) -do we need to transfer our luggage get it from haneda and drop off at narita airport?
Considering that we have 4hours and 40mins.

    Thanks
    Tony

    1. Hi Tony,

Unfortunately, you will need to enter Japan, pick up your luggage, take it to Haneda with you, and drop it off at the counter there…

      Have a good trip!

      Best,
      Keishi

  13. Long HOANG Nguyen

    Hi Keishi,
I hope you’re doing very well.
I have a very important question for you…
How much time you should allow yourself to transfer from Haneda Airport to Narita Airport?
    Thanks,
    Long

    1. Hi Long,

While it can be done quicker, I would try to have at least 5 hours between the arrival in Haneda and the departure from Narita. You never know how long it’s going to take to get through immigration or for your suitcase to come out on the luggage belt, etc.

      Best regards,
      Keishi

  14. Hi there Keishi!
My family of 5 will arrive from US in Haneda at 2:55pm then we leave for Manila in Narita at about 7:30pm. We have baggages to claim at Customs right? A lot of them! If we ride the Airpot Shuttle bus, does it have space for the baggages to bring to Narita Airport? And does 4 1/2 hours enough time for us to smoothly do the transfers and check in? Thank you.

    1. Hi Alet,

Taking luggage on the airport bus should be no problem. As for the transfer time, if all goes smooth, I believe it should be enough, but if you’ll get held up at customs or have a delay, it might be tight.

Have a safe and smooth trip!

      Keishi

  15. Hello,
Corona is bad during this time. I heard 4:30 minutes is usually OK from Haneda to Narita but i am worry if things might get slower at the airport during this time due to extra screening.
Anyone can please let me know how difficult it is to get your luggage on and off the bus? I have two wheeled luggages and one box that is a bit more difficult to carry around without airport cart. I assume you cannot fit the whole cart onto the bus.

  16. Hi Keishi
Do I need a transit VISA for my onward journey from DELHI to SAN FRANCISCO. My arrival is in Hanida and there’s change of airport with about 8 hours layover at NARITA.

    1. I don’t think Haneda – Narita transfers are possible now for non-Japanese / people without residence here as you’d have to enter the country. You should check with the Japanese embassy.

  17. Hi
I have a flight to Haneda airport from Delhi and the connecting flight from narita airport to seattle(USA)
    I have below questions
    1. As per the new covid rukles do I need to quarantine for 14 days( I am vaccinated) is there any chance of immediate travel if I am covid negative.
    2. Do I need to take my bags from Haneda to narita airport.
    3. Please let me know the answers for the above questions.

    1. Hi Yaswanth,

Unfortunately, I don’t think non-Japanese can enter Japan now for transit purposes. So traveling on the itinerary described is not possible at all now I believe. To transit between Haneda and Narita you would need to enter the country which is not possible at the moment.

      Best regards,
      Keishi

  18. Hi,
We have a flight on July 29 this year with my son and finnish husband from Manila philippines to narita tokyo, then from haneda to helsinki. We have only 4 1/2 hour lay over. I know that the bus is the fastest way to transfer to haneda. My question is what papers needed for the transit?
thank you very much for the respond.

    regards,
    Janeth

    1. Keishi Nukina

      Hi Janeth,

Is this booked on one ticket? If so, you should contact the airline. In either case, considering that you will need to enter Japan to transit between Narita and Haneda, I don’t think your transfer will be possible at all unless Japan’s rules change significantly. Currently, Japan is doing COVID-19 tests at the entry which can take a few hours.

      Best,
      Keishi

  19. Hi Keishi,

I’m traveling from US to Philippines stop over in Haneda transfer to Narita with 3 hrs and 40 mins layover. Do you think I have enough time? Also how about the travel restrictions in Japan?
    Thank you

    Rolan

    1. Hi,

You should contact the airline. Considering that you will need to enter Japan to transit between Narita and Haneda, I don’t think your transfer will be possible at all unless Japan’s rules change significantly. Even if you were able to enter the country, currently, Japan is doing COVID-19 tests at the entry which can take a few hours.

      Best,
      Keishi

    2. Hey Rolan.

I have the same issue here. I’m Indonesian, flying from Jakarta to New York (flying with JAL) with airport transfer from Narita to Haneda only 3h40m transit time.

How did it go with you finally? Did you make it? And please share the best way for this issue.

      Thanks

      1. Hi Janey, considering that even with visa, you would still need to enter Japan with the itinerary you’re describing, I don’t think the transfer is physically possible. Japan still does PCR on arrival and you can only leave the airport after testing negative. This takes a couple of hours at best and longer during busier times of the day.

  20. Hi i would like to ask i well arrive on HND Terminal 2 on april 22 and transfer to terminal 3 going to Phil. Should i carry out my luggage from terminal to and check in again upon arriving at terminal 3 thank you😀

  21. I will be traveling with my child (8 yrs old) from Osaka Itami to Haneda and then from Narita to Chicago using JAL. The time between arrival at Haneda and departure from Narita is 3.5 hours. I understand that I will have to claim our luggage and transfer to Narita, check-in and go through immagration/customs. Beacause of Covid, busses are less frequent (about 1 hr apart). Looking at the bus time tables the first bus is 1 hr after our arrival. If we can catch the first bus we will have about 1.25 hours to check-in and catch out flight out of Narita. If we miss the first bus we will only have 15 min. I am worried about the very tight schedule. Does this schedule seem reasonable? Is there any indication that the bus schedule will return to normal before July?

    1. Hi Justin, that seems very tight even under normal circumstances. You definitely don’t want to miss that bus. Assuming the 15 minutes is bus arrival to plane departure will not work. Is there any chance you can catch an earlier flight out of Osaka?

  22. Hi Keishi,
Thank you for an amazing article. I am flying from SFO to NRT and will wait for 8hrs and fly out from HND to my destinated country. My question is, do I have to follow Japanese guidelines for goods brought into the country since I have to leave NRT airport to take the bus to HND to fly out, or is it okay since Japan is not my final destination?

    Thanks

    1. Hi Tommie,
Did you check with Japanese Embassy to make sure you can transfer from NRT to HND airport? is there any additional paperwork like Transit Visa that you need to obtain before you can transfer from one airport to another? I heard some said that they do not allow non- Japanese to transfer.

  23. Hi There,
This forum is great and thank you all for comments and suggestions. I learned a lot from this forum.
I am travelling from SFO to NRT at 4:45PM and layover is about 8hrs for me to change airport to HND airport for departure around 1:10AM. I just learned that due to travel restriction, is this true to transfer from NRT to HND is not allowed at this time? Do I need to obtain a Transit Visa to get out of NRT and enter HND? What do I need to do when i arrive at NRT if they dont allow me to transfer to HND for my final destination?
    Any comment/suggestion is great appreciated.
    Thanks, Dylan

    1. Keishi Nukina

      Hi Dylan,

You should check with the embassy if you can get transit visa. Not sure if they are issuing them now or not. In either case, with the current restrictions in place, you will need some sort of visa and also a pre-departure PCR as you essentially have to enter Japan once to transit from Narita to Haneda. Depending on where you are coming from, etc., from June, there might be no testing upon arrival which should speed up the process and make the transfer possible time-wise assuming you can enter the country.

  24. Thank you for the forum. Most helpful in these times of constantly changing rules. Will keep “watching this space”. Booked on JAL in September from FRA – SYD via Tokyo. Have to change airports in Tokyo (arrive NRT, depart HND). All on one booking. Thought I had >5hrs to transfer but now find I have <3.5hrs. Am concerned that even with Japan non-nationals (that's me) now permitted to enter the country, there will still be COVID-related delays at inbound immigration and I won't make my onward flight.
    Any updated information greatly appreciated.

  25. I have a rather long interval (9 hours) between my flight from DFW to NRT then over to HND for a connection to Singapore. Do you know if there is a place one can get some sleep for a few hours during that interval? Thank you….your comments are very helpful.

  26. Hi, I have a question.

I am flying from Naha, Okinawa Japan (OKA) to HND and then have to transfer from HND to NRT where ill fly to the USA. My layover is 3h40m, is this enough time to transfer and get to my flight on time? I’m not checking any bags, only have one carryon with just clothes.
Do you think this is feasible?

  27. Dear Keisha,

We are traveling in December and have:
    – Inbound: Narita (3 PM) to Haneda (10 AM next day) connection
    – Return: Haneda (6 AM) to Narita (6 PM) same day
We will be traveling with luggage, though not too much.

    Questions:
    – Inbound: Where to stay overnight?
    – Outbound: Where to store the luggage to spend a few hours in Tokyo?

Many thanks for this article and your helpful advice!

    1. Hi,

For your inbound transfer, I think anything in central Tokyo would work as you have lot of time. Maybe around Shinagawa or Daimon/Hamamatsucho stations to be just a quick ride away from Haneda.

For your return, most larger stations have luggage lockers (coin or transportation IC card operated). That said, will depend on how much/large your luggage is.

  28. My 2 sons will be taking JAL arriving Narita Airport at 6:20 am then connecting to Haneda airport at 10:40 am. What is the fastest way to get there considering they only have 4 hours layover? Does JAL take care of transferring their luggages between 2 airports?

  29. Hello! Has anybody actually made it to their flight doing the Narita Airport – Haneda Airport transfer with a 4 hour layover time? It seems very irresponsible for websites like CheapoAir to allow people to book long haul flights like this.

  30. Hello,

I am badly in need of help right now. My return flight is from Manila to Haneda then need to go to Narita for connecting flight to Canada. My questions are

Do I need to get my checked in luggage and bring to Narita? I dont know if Air Canada gave me the right info that it will be transported directly to the departure (Narita)airport.

Do I need a visa for this? If so, how can I get one?

    Please help….

    1. Hi Grace,

For a Haneda -> Narita transfer, you will have to pick up your luggage at Haneda, take it with you to Narita, and re-check-in it there. You will also need to be able to enter Japan to make your way from one airport to the other. Depending on your situation, this might require visa – make sure to check with the Japanese embassy well in advance of your departure.

    2. Jennete de Leon

      Hi,

Would like to ask if you cab share your experience with your airport transfer (haneda to narita), did you obtain transit visa? How can you can a visa? What are the requirements. We have similar case and im very hopeless with this scenario. Thank you in advance

  31. Any 2023 travel experiences for the transfer between 2 airports? I’ll have a 13+ hours layover and was bummed to read that I am responsible for checked bags. Was really looking forward to get out and explore a place or 2 before my onward journey.

  32. What is the best way to see a little bit of Japan while transferring? If the layover is only 6 hours, is that enough time to do anything at all? What would be the recommendation? If I take the bus or train, will I get a chance to see anything?

  33. Hello,
I also have the same problem as everyone. But I did not see any comments on whether we can make it from Haneda to Narita in 4 hour layover. I am worried about not making it to the airport on time and trying to plan out the trip. Did anyone have any experience with this short layover? did you make it to the airport on time? Any tips?
What if I miss the flight from Narita to O’hare, Chicago? Will they reschedule me for a different flight?

    Thank you.

    1. I hope people made it and therefore have no need to come back here to comment.
I’ll be flying JAL from ORD to HND, then NRT to MEL in March next year (3.5 hrs overlay).
It will be tough changing airports with all the luggages while travelling with my 84yo mother.
      ???? ????

      1. Keishi Nukina

Considering that you will have to clear the immigration, pick up your bags, clear the customs, potentially take the shuttle bus to one of the domestic terminals as the buses to Narita leave more often from there, wait for the bus to Narita, and travel to Narita (approx. 60~90 minutes), it is an extremely tight connection even when things go smoothly. A potential early arrival from ORD might make things easier but it is still far from an ideal itinerary, especially given your mom’s age.
